Welcome to Team Budget Forklifts
Team Budget Forklifts is a Men's Cycling Team competing in UCI Continental Races on both the Oceania and Asian Continental Circuits. The Team also competes in the National Road Series throughout Australia. Formed in 2008 the Team has already impacted greatly on Australian Cycling.
The team is made up from a mix of more experienced riders to very young riders, the idea being the young riders are mentored and reach their full potential.
Last year Budget Forklifts were invited to compete in the Jayco Herald Sun Tour, a feat in itself and competed against world class teams, with Stuart O’Grady from Saxo Bank winning the event.
Team Budget Forklifts also supports elite female cyclists.
Cycling is the fastest growing sport in the world and Budget Forklifts believe as a low impact, ecologically friendly and a sport the whole family can enjoy is worth supporting and developing further.

 Dan putting the pressure on during Race 4 A tough week of racing finished last night with a tight circuit around Vincent street. With the last night of racing and not a win to date, the Budget Forklifts boys were keen to leave The Smoke Free Perth Criteriums on a positive note with a victory.

 Daniel putting the pressure on during Race 3 Once again the Budget Forklifts boys were in every move of Race 3 and were very unlucky not to form the winning move. The winning move came from Adam Semple and Travis Meyer with less than 10mins remaining. Meyer the current Australian Road Race Champion took line honours from Adam Semple with Budget Forklifts rider Daniel Braunsteins finishing a solid 5th behind Graeme Brown and Cameron Meyer.

 Blair Windsor riding strong in the main break of Race 2 Race 2 of The Smoke Free Perth Criterium Series saw the Budget Forklifts team of Daniel Braunsteins, Pete Herzig, Matt Wood and Blair Windsor ride an agressive race by attacking the bunch and ensuring they were represented in every move throughout the race.

 Doug and Blair showing off their Hogs Breath Cafe coolers Competing in his first U23 National Road Race, Doug finished a very credible 22nd even after driving the break in support of his team mate Blair Windsor. In the Open National Road Race Cam Jennings again performed very well finishing 19th in the very select group of Australia's best pro's.
