Daniel Braunsteins finishes 5th in The Smoke Free Perth Criterium Series

A tough week of racing finished last night with a tight circuit around Vincent street. With the last night of racing and not a win to date, the Budget Forklifts boys were keen to leave The Smoke Free Perth Criteriums on a positive note with a victory.
The race was very aggressive from the start with the Meyer brothers attacking early trying to win overall honours. The Budget Forklifts boys made their intensions clear by also attacking and putting a rider in each move throughout the bike race. Unluckily when the Budget Forklifts train was positioning for a sprint a group of three moved of the front and held on for victory. Dan finished 3rd in the bunch sprint which was a great result and a well deserved 5th in The Smoke Free Perth Criterium series.
